On Thursday, December 8, Redwater Elementary School will host the 2022 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Elementary Competition.  We anticipate over 450 students from 15 area elementary schools who will attend and participate in this challenging and fun academic event.

In order to accommodate all students and competitions, REDWATER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ONLY WILL BE CLOSED AND NO CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8.  All other RISD Schools (Intermediate, Junior High and High School) will be open with classes on a normal schedule.  There will be select 2nd and 3rd Grade students participating in this event.  Communication to parents/guardians of these students will go directly to them from RES.
