BROOK USREY is the daughter of Scott and Amy Usrey. She is graduating with a 4.0 GPA, has 35 college credit hours and is Redwater High School’s 2023 Valedictorian.
Usrey is a volunteer coach for Redwater Youth Sports Association, a three-year varsity athlete in volleyball and powerlifting and a four-year varsity athlete in softball, where she has been awarded the Academic All-District Award in volleyball for the past three years and softball for the past four years. She received the Elite Academic All-State Award in volleyball and powerlifting this year. She is also a two-year state qualifier in powerlifting, and she was awarded the Softball Newcomer of the year in 2021 and received the Softball Offensive MVP in 2022.
Academically, Brooke is a former member of the UIL mathematics team. She currently serves as vice-president of student council and the National Honor Society. She is president of Key Club, a member of HOSA, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of READY.
Usrey received the Distinguished Freshman Academic Scholarship to Henderson State University, where she plans to attend this fall and pursue a degree in engineering.
