Redwater ISD is pleased to announce our District Teachers of the Year for the 2025-26 school year. 

Elementary Teacher of the Year – Stephanie Brooks

Stephanie Brooks serves as a first grade teacher at Redwater Elementary School. She is in her third year of teaching at Redwater ISD, with four total years in the district. In her classroom, Ms. Brooks prioritizes engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build confidence and foster a lifelong love of learning. She believes rigor and mastery in education are essential, but joy is equally powerful in helping students remain engaged and excited to learn.

Secondary Teacher of the Year – M. Scally

Ms. Scally serves as an Special Education Life Skills Teacher at Redwater Junior High and Redwater High School. She is in her third year of teaching at Redwater ISD. Ms. Scally creates opportunities for students to practice in both simulated and community-based settings to bridge classroom learning with real-life independence. She advocates for high, appropriate expectations and fosters learning environments where students feel valued and build confidence in their abilities.
