Stay informed, attend exclusive events, and enjoy special perks - just for those 55 and older!
The Golden Dragons Club is a FREE membership program for Redwater ISD community members!
Members will enjoy:
- Free general admission ticket to all RISD home athletic events (excluding playoffs) and fine arts performances including plays & concerts (excluding fundraisers*).
- Staying informed about the Dragon Kingdom via email, text messages, and electronic newsletter
- Special event invitations and performances
- Opportunities to volunteer, tour, and connect with students & staff
- Time to socialize with friends and neighbors
New Golden Dragons will qualify for a pass when they attend one Golden Dragon Event. New passes can be used this school year until December of the following school year. To qualify for next year’s pass, passholders must sign up and attend a minimum of two Golden Dragon events.
Golden Dragons passes grant free general admission ticket to all RISD home athletic events (excluding playoffs and RYSA games) and fine arts performances including plays & concerts (excluding fundraisers*) for the passholder.
*Fundraisers include but are not limited to: tournaments, meets, Dinner Theatre, Banquets, etc.
Please complete the Golden Dragons Sign-Up Form to learn more about upcoming events and opportunities to be involved with the Dragon Kingdom. Your contact information will be used only for contacting passholders with updates regarding events and membership.
Additionally, you will be added to our seasonal newsletter, where you’ll receive updates on upcoming events, activities, photo highlights, celebrations, and more!
If a Golden Dragon loses their pass, they may replace their pass for $35.

The Golden Dragons are invited to attend a Music and Tea event hosted by Redwater High School's National Honor Society. Our students will prepare light snacks and tea, performances, and discuss their chapter’s activities.

The Golden Dragons attended a St. Patrick’s Day cookie decorating event hosted by Redwater High School's National Honor Society. During this event our Golden Dragons had the opportunity to get creative, learn more about our NHS chapter, and engage with our students.

The Golden Dragons participated in an exclusive Creative Canvas Night, a fun and relaxing event hosted by the Redwater High School art ambassadors. These students led the Golden Dragons through a painting with art materials provided. Imagine Painting with a Twist: Dragon Kingdom edition. Our Golden Dragons learned more about our art department, painting techniques, and the Visual Art Scholastic Competition these students recently participated in.

The Golden Dragons are invited to an exciting morning with Redwater Intermediate School for House Games
Join us for House Games, a fun-filled event packed with games, friendly competition, and outdoor activities! You can either jump in to play games with our students and staff, or you can be a spectator. -
Golden Dragons Celebrate STEAM at RIS
We loved welcoming our Golden Dragons to Redwater Intermediate School for a special day of learning and connection at the STEAM Expo! Members served as guest judges for student science projects, selecting their “Golden Picks” and spending time connecting with students to learn more about the creativity, research, and hard work behind each project.
After judging, our Golden Dragons stayed to enjoy a fun, interactive campus experience, including a special House Sorting event in the gym—where they were officially “sorted” into one of the RIS student Houses and warmly welcomed by students from each House.

The Golden Dragons participated in the Veterans Day Program and contributed to the second annual 10,000 for the Troops initiative by making cards for veterans alongside students from each campus. They created 54 additional cards, bringing the Redwater ISD total to 1,254. Following the activity, students led tours of the junior high and elementary schools.

The Golden Dragons heard presentations from Redwater Junior High and High School student leaders representing various clubs/organizations. They also received information about Redwater ISD's Mission & Vision and a Golden Dragons program overview from Dr. Kelly Burns, Superintendent of Schools.
